Caps' T.J. Oshie, Matt Niskanen take Metro to Capital One Arena for Stanley Cup Game 3
WASHINGTON - As Washington Capitals fans crowded the Metro to head to Capital One Arena for Game 3 of the Stanley Cup -- so did Caps' star forward T.J. Oshie.
The Caps' right wing player was caught taking the Metro into the office Saturday night for the big game by area fan Dana D'Aniello.
D'Aniello says she caught a glimpse of Oshie, along with defender Matt Niskanen.
But with many of the area roads closed for Caps Fan Fest outside the Arena, Metro seemed like as good as any way to get to the game, assuming it gets there on time.
This is the first time in 20 years that Washington, D.C. has hosted a Stanley Cup Final Game.
DC will host Game 4 of the series on Monday night, with extended service sponsored by Xfinity.
