Police search for man suspected of multiple sex assaults in Northwest DC
WASHINGTON - Police are investigating three sex assaults reported in Northwest D.C. that they say may involve the same suspect.
The first incident was reported on February 4 around 12:55 p.m. in the 1900 block of 39th Street. A second incident was reported on April 6 around 11:10 p.m. in the 3300 block of N Street. The most recent incident was reported on April 17 around 11:30 p.m. in the 2400 block of K Street.
Investigators will only say that the suspect engaged in sexual contact with adult female victims without permission.
In all three incidents the man is described as wearing a hooded jacket or as having a hood over his face. In the two April incidents, the man is described as having a light skin tone and facial hair.
Because of the similar descriptions of the suspect, police believe the three cases may be related. Anyone with information should call police at 202-727-9099 or text your tip to the Department's TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.
A $1,000 reward is being offered to anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest and indictment of the suspect.
