Tractor trailer fire causes delays on Capital Beltway in Montgomery County

SILVER SPRING, Md. (FOX 5 DC) - A fire to a tractor trailer hauling fruit along the inner-loop of the Capital Beltway caused early morning delays in Montgomery County.

The incident was reported around 5 a.m. along the inner-loop of Interstate 495 before exit 29B at New Hampshire Avenue in the Silver Spring area.

No injuries were reported. The fire reportedly started in the sleeper section of the vehicle and extended to the engine.
