Tractor-trailer catches fire on Interstate 95 in Lorton
LORTON, Va. - The northbound lanes of Interstate 95 in Fairfax County were temporarily shut down due to a large tractor-trailer fire Tuesday night.
The blaze happened in Lorton at mile marker 162 on I-95 near Lorton Road, authorities say.
The fire caused major delays that reportedly backed up traffic for about seven miles on the roadway. Drivers were advised to avoid the area by authorities.
