Sixth person dies from fatal Bowie crash
WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - A sixth person has died, officials say, as a result of the fatal crash in Prince George's County earlier this month.
Maryland State police say 23-year-old Cornell D. Simon, of Oxon Hill, Md. sustained life-threatening injuries in the Feb. 2 crash on Route 301 in Bowie.
Police say Simon was in the front seat of the Chrysler Pacifica when it ran off the road in early in the morning.

Five children were killed in the crash -- 8-year-old London and 5-year-old Paris Dixon from Bowie, as well as 14-year-old Zion Beard, 6-year-old Rickelle Ricks, and 15-year-old Damari Herald were killed in the crash.
Investigators said the children were not wearing seat belts.
Maryland State Police Crash Team investigators were notified that Simon succumbed to his injuries on Friday.
Police say the only survivor from the crash is identified as the driver, 32-year-old Dominique R. Taylor from Bowie, Md.

The Maryland State Police Crash Team continues to investigate the cause and contributing factors that led to the crash.
Officials say no charges have been filed and investigators continue to examine all possibilities.
Police say their findings will be presented to the Prince George's County State's Attorney's Office for review and consultation regarding charges.
