Prince George's County Fire battling 2-alarm Upper Marlboro warehouse fire
UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (FOX 5 DC) - Officials say operations will continue throughout the night as Prince George's County fire investigate a two-alarm fire in Upper Marlboro.
Officials say say the fire broke out in a warehouse at 12601 Old Marlboro Pike at around 7:30 a.m. Saturday.
Prince George's County fire says says they receiving assistance from several area fire crews.
A resident who called in to FOX 5 says due to the size of the fire, officials have blocked area roadways while crews fight the flames.
Crews have reportedly been using area fire hydrants, and has limited traffic for anyone from coming in or out of the neighborhood.
Investigators say portions of the building have collapsed, but there are no injuries reported at this time.
Preliminary fire loss is estimated at $1.5 million, according to Prince George's County fire.
The warehouse is reportedly owned by B&K Rental, which specializes in temporary seating, bleachers and scaffolding.
The cause remains under investigation. No injuries have been reported.
