Police officer, 3 others rescued after falling through ice in Prince George's Co.
RIVERDALE, Md. - Police dash cam captures a Prince George's County officer falling through ice into frigid waters in Prince George's County during a rescue.
Police say the officer was attempting to assist three people off Flintridge Drive in Glenridge Park in Riverdale Sunday when the ice gave way and he also fell in.
Officials tell FOX 5's Lindsay Watts the officer on the call was new to the force -- with just two weeks on the job.
Officials say Prince George's County Fire rescued all four people. One of the four left but the two remaining and the officer were taken to the hospital for hypothermia.
