Police investigating fatal shooting in Suitland after man found dead inside car

SUITLAND, Md. (FOX 5 DC) - Police in Prince George's County are investigating a fatal shooting in Suitland after a man was found dead inside a car Wednesday evening.

According to police, officers responded to the 3200 block of Ryan Drive at around 6:50 p.m. after receiving reports of a suspicious vehicle in the area.

When they arrived at the scene, they found a man who was unresponsive and suffering from trauma to the upper body, police say.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

PGPD detectives are now working to identify suspects and determine a motive.
