Police investigating fatal shooting in Anne Arundel County

SEVERN, Md. - Anne Arundel County police say they are investigating a domestic-related homicide in Severn.

Officials say a female victim was found dead in the 7700 block of Twin Oaks Road just after 1 p.m. Wednesday.

A suspect is in custody and homicide detectives are on the scene. Investigators say residents should avoid the area, but there is no threat to the community.
