No injuries after large blaze at DC restaurant

WASHINGTON - Firefighters have put out a fire Wednesday night at a restaurant in the Shaw neighborhood of Washington D.C.

The fire broke out at Sumah's West African Restaurant in the 1700 block of 7th Street in Northwest D.C. nearby the Shaw-Howard University Metro station.

Fire officials say the blaze did not extend to adjacent structures of the restaurant and there were no injuries reported.
