Man shot at Prince William County apartment complex, police say

MANASSAS, Va. (FOX 5 DC) - Police in Prince William County have taken a person into custody who they say shot a man at an apartment complex in Manassas.

Officers say the shooting was reported at the Maplewood Park Apartments sometime Tuesday morning. The victim was flown to an area hospital with serious injuries.

Authorities say the incident does not appear to be random and that the shooter and victim appear to know each other.
