Loudoun County HS teacher arrested for alleged inappropriate communications with students: police
LEESBURG, Va. (FOX 5 DC) - A Loudoun County High School teacher was arrested and faces charges after police say reports surfaced that she was having inappropriate communications with students.
Police say 25-year-old Allison Briel was arrested on Tuesday. She is accused of sending revealing photos of herself and "solicitations of sexual intercourse" to three students, ages 16 and 17.
According to a criminal complaint obtained by WTOP, there is no indication that there was any sexual contact between Briel and the students.
She has been charged with three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor after police say she participated in inappropriate communications with students at the school.
Briel has worked as a teacher in marketing education at Loudoun County High School in Leesburg since August 2017.
She is currently being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on a $2,500 secured bond. She is set to enter a plea in the case on Monday at 11 a.m.
