International Ax-Throwing Day is June 13

WASHINGTON - Happy International Ax-Throwing Day!

Kraken Axes brought their ax-throwing arena to FOX 5 to commemorate International Ax-Throwing Day!

Erin and Tucker tried their hands at the Canadian tradition of ax-throwing. Erin is a natural, while Tucker needs a bit more practice!

Players throw five times per game, trying to get the ax as close to the target as possible.

Kraken Axes will debut at "Red, White & Brew" July 1 and 2 at Yards Park.

Kraken Axes founder and Drink the District CEO Steuart Marten spoke about the event, "We'll be playing all day. Make a reservation for groups of eight people, and have a great two and a half hour ax-throwing experience."
