Fire breaks out at DC medical marijuana facility
WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - Officials are investigating after a fire broke out at a medical marijuana facility Saturday at the 1800 block Fenwick Street Northeast.
Fire officials say the fire, which broke out at around 1:30 p.m., was contained to one room on the first floor of a two-story commercial building used a medical marijuana cultivation center.
D.C. Fire say the fire is under control, however a fire fighter suffered a minor injury and will be transported to the hospital.
Investigators remain on scene to determine the cause.
