Delta flight makes emergency landing at Dulles for landing gear issue
WASHINGTON - A plane made an emergency landing at Dulles International Tuesday afternoon, according to airport officials.
Delta Connection Flight 5507, which was flying from LaGuardia to Richmond made an emergency landing at Dulles just after 12:00 p.m.
This comes just hours after Southwest Airlines made an emergency landing in Philadelphia after an engine reportedly exploded and left one passenger in critical condition.
The landing was made without incident but was made due to a landing gear issue.
Passengers were taken off the plane and it was towed for inspection and possible repairs. No injuries were reported.
