DC street closures, parking restrictions announced for Stanley Cup
WASHINGTON - As the Washington Capitals fight for the Stanley Cup on Saturday, DC residents will have to fight around street closures and parking restrictions.
DC officials announced several road closures and parking restrictions in place around the Capital One Arena.
The following roads are closed and will remain closed until about 3 p.m. on June 11:
On Saturday, the following streets will be closed in the area:
On Saturday, the following parking restrictions will be in place in the area:
- From 6:00 a.m. until midnight -
- From 4:00 p.m. until four hours after the game ends -
Officials said cars parked in the area during those times will be ticketed and towed.
The following road closures and parking restrictions will be in place for Game 4 on Monday and, if needed, Game 6 on June 10.
