DC eagle lays first egg of the year
WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - Liberty has laid her first egg of the year!
Liberty and Justice are a pair of bald eagles who have raised their eaglets in an oak tree outside the Metropolitan Police Academy in Southwest D.C. for nearly 15 years.
On Feb. 12, Liberty had an egg tentatively named ECC5.
The egg should hatch within 35 to 40 days.
