4 shot outside 7-Eleven in Southeast during violent weekend in DC
WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - Authorities say four men were shot outside of a 7-Eleven store in Southeast, D.C. Sunday night during the latest incident in a series of weekend violence.
Officers say the men were shot around midnight in the 3900 block of Martin Luther King Avenue. All of the victims are in critical condition with life-threatening injuries at this time. No employees were involved in the shootings. Investigators are looking for three black males all dressed in all black clothing and armed with handguns. They say the suspects fled the scene on foot.
Around 11:30 p.m. Sunday, police say a man was shot in the arm in the 2800 block of 14th Street in the Northwest.
Earlier in the evening, around 8:30 p.m., police say a man was shot in the 3000 block of G Street in the Southeast. Investigators are looking for a black male wearing a white tank top, black pants and a ski mask. The suspects was armed with a gun and was last seen in a beige Honda Civic Sedan with tinted window traveling southbound on Bayley Place in the Southeast.
