Mother, father hospitalized after stabbed by son in Fairfax County, police say

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (FOX 5 DC) - Police say an adult son allegedly stabbed his 64-year-old father and 54-year-old mother Tuesday morning in Fairfax County.

The incident happened around 7 a.m. in the 6000 block of Sweet Pea Count in the Franconia area.

The son fled the scene but was apprehended a short time later by authorities. The victims were transported to nearby hospitals where they remain in stable condition.
