18-year-old woman found fatally shot in Fort Washington identified by Prince George's County police
FORT WASHINGTON, Md. (FOX 5 DC) - An 18-year-old woman who was found fatally shot in Prince George's County has been identified by authorities.
The Prince George's County Police Department said 18-year-old Saniyah Floyd of Capitol Heights was found in a home in the 13000 block of Buchanan Drive in Fort Washington at about 10:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Officials said Floyd was found suffering from a single gunshot wound inside the home and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said they were speaking with witnesses who were with Floyd at the time of the incident and were reviewing forensic evidence to determine what happened.
Detectives said they recovered the gun at the scene and were attempting to determine who the firearm belonged to.
