Lanes closed on I-270 following car fire

BETHESDA - Some lanes were blocked Monday on I-270 following a collision and vehicle fire, according to officials.

Southbound and Northbound I-270 are experiencing delays Monday following a vehicle fire at the Watkins Mill Rd. overpass. Montgomery County Fire and Rescue spokesperson Pete Piringer tweeted that a collision involving two vehicles left several injured.
