Fire department activity at Pentagon delays Metro traffic along parts of Yellow, Blue lines

ARLINGTON, Va. - Fire department activity at the Pentagon Metro Station briefly suspended service along parts of the Yellow and Blue lines Monday morning.

Train service was suspended on the Blue line between Pentagon City and Arlington Cemetery and on the Yellow line between Pentagon City and Arlington Cemetery around 5:30 a.m.

Both lines were starting to get back to normal shortly after 6 a.m. Shuttle buses had been in place earlier in the morning.

It is unclear at this time what type of fire department activity caused the delay.
