Damascus football team pressing on after sex assault arrests; coach declines to comment
DAMASCUS, Md. - The Damascus High School varsity football team is pressing on in the Maryland state playoffs after five students were charged with rape and attempted rape for an alleged incident in a locker room.
The suspects and four victims were reportedly junior varsity players.
The incident reportedly involved a broomstick.
FOX 5's Josh Rosenthal reported from Damascus High School on Thursday and asked a coach for an explanation. The coach, who declined to identify himself, refrained from discussing the allegations with FOX 5. (Watch in the video player above)
