Body found in Carroll Creek; Frederick police investigating
FREDERICK, Md. (FOX 5 DC) - Frederick police are investigating after a body was pulled from Carroll Creek on Sunday.
The body was found around 8 a.m. on Sunday, and police had not determined the identity by Monday morning.
The Frederick County Division of Fire and Rescue initially responded to the scene, followed by police.
The man's body was taken from Frederick Memorial Hospital to the Maryland Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore where an autopsy will be conducted.
Police say the body did not have any obvious sings of injuries or show any trauma.
Investigators do not believe his death was suspicious.
