FOX 5 and FOX 5 Plus launch 2 new evening shows

WASHINGTON - FOX 5 and FOX 5 Plus, Washington D.C.'s leaders in local news are launching two new evening shows as we expand our local coverage of the District, Maryland and Virginia.

"FOX 5's Like It Or Not" will air weekdays at 7 p.m. on FOX 5 and will go beyond the headlines to offer edgy and controversial commentary about pop culture, politics and news of the day. Bram Weinstein, Marina Marraco, Nick Smith, Britt McHenry and Guy Lambert will weigh-in with their candid opinions and observations on a wide range of topics.

FOX 5 Plus has launched a half-hour newscast at 9 p.m. Nick Smith, Shawn Yancy and Caitlin Roth bring you the latest news and weather every weeknight on FOX 5 Plus channel 20 following Family Feud. FOX 5 Plus already has an 8 p.m. newscast anchored by Marina Marraco, Guy Lambert and Sue Palka.

WTTG and WDCA are part of the FOX Television Stations, one of the nation's largest owned-and-operated network broadcast groups, comprising 28 stations in 17 markets and covering over 37% of U.S. television homes. This includes seven duopolies in the top 10 markets: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Washington, D.C. and Houston; as well as duopolies in Minneapolis, Phoenix, Orlando and Charlotte.
