NEW DEAL CAFÉ: Stop in to enjoy plant-based Italian-American cuisine, craft beers and wines. Stay for live music six nights a week. Named one of 2017’s “Best 35 Folk Music Venues in the U.S.” the 25-year-old nonprofit co-op is a cornerstone of Greenbelt’s music and arts scene.

THE SPACE "FREE ART FOR ALL": Check out the free, non-profit art and tech working environment. Located in Beltway Plaza Mall, drop in to paint, draw or sew. You can enjoy art therapy, workshops and more.

GREENBELT MUSEUM: Opened in 1987 to mark the city’s 50th anniversary, the Greenbelt Museum preserves and shares the history of the experimental planned community. Built during FDR’S new deal era. Tour original home exhibits and learn about this historic town’s public programs.

OLD GREENBELT THEATRE: A historic single-screen movie theater built in the 1930’s. A fun blast to the past with its art deco and streamline modern style. The Old Greenbelt Theatre shows contemporary films as well as diverse and community based films.

NASA GODDARD VISITORS CENTER: Explore our planet like a NASA scientist with the neighborhood earth exhibit. And go beyond with the solarium and the lunar reconnaissance orbiter. If you are ready to touch the skies- the Visitors Center is the place to be!
